Where is the new campus?
We are moving from Fuglesangs allé to the other side of Universitetsbyen opposite of Universitetsparken. So there will be plenty of opportunities to visit your friends from the other facualties.
What buildings are we in?
Here you can see where most of your day-to-day life is gonna be. The buildings marked in white are the most important buildings for you as a HA student.

Aarhus University (AU) has embarked on an ambitious “Campus 2.0” development plan that will shape
our campus through 2034. In autumn 2024, AU’s board approved a 10-year campus plan featuring new
buildings, major renovations, and optimizations . The vision is to consolidate university activities
around the University Park, the new University City (Universitetsbyen), and Katrinebjerg,
strengthening a cohesive, city-centered campus in Aarhus . This physical development is meant to
ensure AU remains an attractive place to study and work, continuing to draw talented, engaged
students and staff.

“Campus is a meeting place, yes. But campus is first and foremost a curious and ever-changing culture, where
there is studying, researching, working and living,” as AU’s campus vision aptly puts it . We’re not just
constructing buildings; we’re nurturing a community that’s constantly evolving. Campus 2.0 builds on
nearly a century of tradition (AU’s first buildings opened in 1928) while moving us toward “the next
relevant version of campus” for the future. In this new chapter, we as students are at the heart of the
vision – shaping and experiencing a campus designed for collaboration, innovation, and belonging.
