The Board of Studenterlauget plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the organization and ensuring that we continue to provide the best possible study environment for students at Aarhus BSS. As the highest governing body, the Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring that Studenterlauget operates in alignment with our core values and long-term goals.
What we do
Elected by Studenterlauget’s members at the annual General Assembly in May, the Board consists of a chairman, a vice chairman, four board members, and an employee representative. We meet monthly to evaluate ongoing initiatives, discuss new opportunities, and make key decisions that drive the organization forward. In addition to these meetings, we actively participate in various workshops throughout the semester, including our annual strategy trip, strategy day with the management, Campus 2.0 workshops, and other ad hoc assignments that support Studenterlauget’s future.
Our strategic focus is built around four pillars: Value Creation, Campus 2.0, Diversity, and Social & Environmental Sustainability. These priorities guide our work and help us ensure that Studenterlauget remains a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that meets the needs of students.
Beyond our strategic responsibilities, the Board is deeply engaged in the social life at Aarhus BSS. We actively participate in key events such as Introduction Week, the Introduction Trip, the Student Life Fair, Club Klub, and many other activities that strengthen the student community. Our involvement allows us to stay connected with the students we represent and continuously improve the experiences we offer.
As a non-profit organization, Studenterlauget reinvests all earnings into initiatives that benefit the student community. The Board ensures that our resources are used effectively to support events, services, and projects that enhance student life. We work closely with Studenterlauget’s management and volunteers to foster a thriving campus culture where all students can engage, grow, and succeed.
