A sneak peek into Deloitte Consulting and this year’s Master Case Challenge

We are more than delighted to once again collaborating with Master Case Challenge, welcoming new students to their master’s programmes in International Economic Consulting and International Business.

You will meet our diverse group of management consultants, who come from various business units, each with unique passions and specialisations. They possess deep expertise across numerous industries and functions, while SRTA focuses on redefining strategies, optimising operating models, and driving measurable value, T&T empowers business transformation through technology, putting people at the centre to create simpler and more connected organisations.

In this year’s Master Case Challenge, you will step into the role of a consultant and tackle a real-world business dilemma. The case centers on Virelyn Cellars, a renowned wine producer in Tuscany, Italy, currently struggling with declining profitability. Your task is to enhance the company’s profitability through structured analysis and data-driven insights—balancing tradition with innovation. Virelyn Cellars produces award-winning chardonnay white and sparkling wines using traditional techniques, but faces challenges in a highly competitive, fragmented industry where only premium producers command higher margins. You will receive relevant data sets and be expected to combine analytical rigor with creativity, business acumen, and teamwork. Are you ready for the challenge?
