Guidelines for hiring Klubben It is possible to hire Klubben if you are a member of Studenterlauget, i.e. a student at Aarhus School of Business. Furthermore, the event you wish to organise must be related to Aarhus School of Business, e.g. graduation parties, study-specific parties, Christmas parties for you and your classmates etc. Moreover, it is required that the majority of the guests participating in the event are also members of Studenterlauget.
Opening hours Generally, Klubben can be hired in timeframes when it would otherwise be closed. Thus, the following opening hours are available: Monday Wednesday 18:00 02:00 Friday 20:00 02:00 Saturday Open until 02:00 Thursday and Sunday CLOSED
Prices If fewer than 50 people attend the event, the price is DKK 100 per hour. If more than 50 people attend the event, Klubben can be hired for free until 02:00. If the hirer requests Klubben to stay open after 02:00, the price is DKK 500 per hour, including sales tax (in Danish: moms). This price only applies in the timeframe from 02:00 to 03:00, at which time Klubben will close. The hirer shall advise Klubben how long Klubben needs to be kept open at the time when the agreement is made. This is only required when Klubben is requested to stay open after 02:00. The staff in Klubben will meet for work one hour before the guests arrive. An arrangement of a buffet can be ordered. The price is DKK 5.00 per person and includes the arrangement of the buffet with table-cloth, cutlery and napkins. It also includes the washing-up. Bowls and salad servers must be brought by the hirer. In advance, an agreement on bringing beverages to the event must be made (it is only allowed to bring wine to the dinner - a fee of DKK 35 will be charged for each bottle). In general, all beverages must be purchased in Klubben. Welcome drinks can be purchased at favourable prices.
Examples A sparkling welcome drink at DKK 10 per glass (Spumante, Sprite and strawberries) White wine at DKK 10 per glass. One draught beer at DKK 10. (Other welcome drinks can be made upon request)
Other points to consider The hirer shall be liable for any acts of vandalism made on sound and light equipment. The staff in Klubben will do the dishwashing, clear-up and cleaning. The hirer must undertake to remove leftovers, presents, ornaments etc. immediately after the end of the event. It is possible to borrow Klubben's MIB music system with approx. 10,000 songs, which allows you to create your own playlists. It is also possible to hire one of Klubben's DJs by making prior arrangements. It is not allowed to bring your own DJ. Any DJ not working for Klubben must be approved and booked through Klubbens DJs. (The telephone number can be obtained by enquiring one of the DJs at the bar). It is not possible to use oven, dishwasher or any other kitchen tools. It is not possible to use the back premises in Klubben.
