Frequently Asked Questions

The following is a short list of frequently asked questions which we have received the previous years. If your question is not mentioned here, you are most welcome to send us an e-mail, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do I have to sign up for the Master Introduction Days?
No. This year you do not have to sign up for the Master Introduction Days. You just have to show up and we will take care of you. International students will meet at the main entrance at 10 am Tuesday the 30th of August. Students who have not taken their bachelor degree at ASB are expected to meet up Wednesday the 31th August at 9 am in the Assembly Hall. Finally students who have taken their bachelor at ASB are expected to meet Thursday the 1st of September in the assembly hall at 8.30 am.

How do I find the Assembly Hall?
The Assembly hall is also called the Aula. If you do not know where this is located at ASB you can meet up at the main entrance to ASB the day you are expected to participate and we will have helpers ready to guide you to the Assembly Hall.

Do I have to participate in the entire programme?
We recommend that you participate in the introduction programme directed at you (International, New to ASB or Bachelor student from ASB). However, if it is impossible for you to participate in the entire introduction, you are most welcome to join only the parts of the programme you can attend.

Can you help me find accommodation?
Unfortunately, we cannot help you find accommodation in Aarhus. It is your own responsibility. However, we know from experience that all students who have come to Aarhus have found a place to stay at the beginning of the semester. You will find posts around campus regarding private accommodation offers. You can also take a look at www.kollegie8000.dk or www.boligportalen.dk. Throughout the Introduction Days, the Instructors are happy to help you use these databases, among other things.
